Mission Statement
Clinical neuropsychology is a rapidly expanding profession that today it is one of the largest specialty groups within psychology. Consequently, the number of graduate students training to enter the field of clinical neuropsychology has grown substantially. Unfortunately, a clinical neuropsychology graduate organization does not currently exist. A graduate organization would serve a critical function in the continuing growth of clinical neuropsychology because it could provide a voice for students training in clinical neuropsychology, provide a platform where the many students in training could come together to discuss training issues, and provide many important resources and services for aspiring clinical neuropsychologists. Most importantly, this organization could provide clinical neuropsychology students the opportunity to become socialized into the field before beginning their professional career.

Purpose
The purpose of developing a clinical neuropsychology graduate student organization is to provide:

A forum to discuss important graduate student issues in clinical neuropsychology such as training, practice, research and career opportunities,

Disseminate information (primarily via an internet web-site) pertaining to the above mentioned graduate student issues in clinical neuropsychology,

An opportunity for students and professionals to network regionally and world-wide,

A vehicle for student representation in the field of clinical neuropsychology, and

Establish and maintain channels of communication between schools, universities, training centers, institutions and other members of the neuropsychological community
