The EAC is comprised of representatives from various training organizations (Association of Postdoctoral Programs in Clinical Neuropsychology, Association for Internship Training in Clinical Neuropsychology, Association for Doctoral Education in Clinical Neuropsychology, Association of Neuropsychology Students in Training) and others with an interest in various stages of training in clinical neuropsychology.  The recent activities of the EAC are listed below.

List of Training Programs in Clinical Neuropsychology:  The new web-based list of training programs developed by the EAC and P&C committees is active and as of 7/07 there are 19 doctoral, 23 internship, and 59 postdoctoral programs listed.  This D40 webpage listing replaces the old “Cripe” list and will be continuously updated.

An ANST-sponsored symposium on Training in Clinical Neuropsychology is scheduled for Friday, 10-11:15 in room 2016 of the Moscone Center for the San Francisco APA meeting.  Dr. Deborah Weber is chairing.

Steering Committee, Interorganizational Summit on Education and Training (ISET):  The first meeting of the ISET (held in Portland on February 8, 2007) and subsequent teleconferences have explored a possible Interorganizational Summit on Training and Education.  This Committee is currently developing a survey to assess the impact of the Houston Conference on training in clinical neuropsychology.  The Steering Committee is made up of two representatives from D40, two from NAN, and one each from APPCN, ABCN, AACN, ADECN, CCPN, and ABPN.

APA Consolidated Meetings (Education Directorate) were attended by the EAC Chair.  Participation in these meetings helps to coordinate the education/training initiatives/activities of D40 and APA.

September 8-11, 2007 APA Education Leadership Conference in Washington D.C. will address advocating for federal support of Psychology education and training.  Dr. Ris will represent the EAC and Division 40 at this conference which will include meetings with legislators.
