The mission of the Division 40 Women in Neuropsychology (WIN) Subcommittee is to actively support and mentor women in neuropsychology. The committee has established a variety of means to support this overarching goal, including:
1) Establishing a list serve with over 300 members for anyone interested in mentoring and supporting the role of women in neuropsychology. To join the list serve contact Cheryl Luis (cluis@rfdn.org).
2) Developing a mentoring program and database designed to facilitate identification of mentors for women at all stages of their professional career. Please contact Lauren Ayr (ayr.1@osu.edu)for additional information or to have your name included in the mentoring database.
3) Sponsoring a variety of activities at the APA annual meeting and INS February meeting designed to support women’s professional development. Recent activities have included panel discussions on balancing multiple roles, staying active in research, and a presentation from the women pioneers in neuropsychology.
